The Bahraini organization of the Third Asian Youth Games received great praise from the heads of Asian delegations and federations, who confirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain provided a role model for efficiency and high readiness, especially in light of the short period of time that preceded the start of the tournament. They praised the modern infrastructure provided by the Kingdom, the advanced sports facilities, and the high level of organizational, technical and media personnel.
Officials of the Asian Olympic Committees also expressed their appreciation for the prominent role of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, in leading the organizing efforts and direct supervision of all technical and administrative details, praising the success achieved in all sports sites in terms of organization, flow and punctuality.
The participating delegations confirmed that Bahrain was able to strengthen its position as a preferred Asian sports destination, thanks to its ability to host major events according to international standards, and its keenness to present an exceptional version of the Asian Youth Games that embodies its slogan “Generation of Gold,” which has become a symbol of success and excellence.
