I witnessed Gold prices Noticeable stability occurred during today’s trading, Saturday, October 25, 2025, in the Egyptian local markets, after a series of declines witnessed by the yellow metal yesterday, Friday, and the 21 carat, the most widely traded among citizens, stabilized at 5,550 pounds.

Gold prices globally
Gold prices in global markets recorded a slight decline, as the metal declined during last week’s transactions by 0.2%, reaching $4,115.03 per ounce, after falling by about 2% at the beginning of the same week. Thus, gold lost about 3.1% at the end of the week.
Gold futures for December delivery also fell by 0.4% to settle at $4,130.50 an ounce.
Independent metals trader Tai Wong said that gold and silver prices rose following the release of consumer price index data for September, which was lower than expectations, but this rise was not enough to compensate for the yellow metal’s losses during the current week.
