Social media pioneers shared the appearance of large, cobra-like snakes in the village of Kafr al-Ajrama in the city of Mahalla in Gharbia Governorate, which sparked a state of panic among the villagers.

A number of citizens living in the village confirmed that they saw snakes roaming in some agricultural lands and areas surrounding homes, calling on the competent authorities to intervene to take the necessary measures to protect the people and remove these reptiles from residential and agricultural areas.
