
Al-Iman Schools for Boys organized a solemn ceremony to honor the elite of its students who had memorized the Holy Qur’an as part of the “Holy Qur’an Journey” program, in an atmosphere of faith full of pride and honor.
The ceremony, which was held in the school’s gymnasium, witnessed a large attendance with the participation of the honorable educator
Mr. Rashid Abdul Rahman, the administrative director and general supervisor of the travel program, and a large part of the educational and administrative staff, led by Mr. Ibrahim Shaheen Khalfan, the director of the primary stage, and Dr. Sameh Badawi, the assistant director of the preparatory and secondary stages, and a large group of parents who shared with their children the joy of this great achievement, led by Sheikh Khalid Al Khalifa and Mr. Faisal Al-Arjani, members of the Parents Council.
The ceremony began with a fragrant recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, delivered by the student, Mishal Salah, which showed the extent of his proficiency and ability to memorize. Then everyone stood in respect of the national anthem of the dear Kingdom of Bahrain, then the audience listened to a religious chant by the distinguished student/ Rashid Al Qasimi, and this segment received great interaction and admiration from the audience.
The administrative director and general supervisor of the dining program delivered a speech from the administration, in which he stressed that this honor comes as a culmination of the efforts of a full year of determination and perseverance made by the students, and the belief of the schools in their role in deepening the connection with the Book of God and supporting Islamic identity. He pointed out that memorizing the Holy Qur’an is the best investment in building a conscious generation that is aware of the value of its religion and its country
The ceremony also included an interesting presentation of the travel program guide delivered by Mr. Al-Saeed Abu Saif, the program supervisor, who praised the distinguished level reached by Al-Iman schools in teaching and memorizing the Qur’an, noting the vital role of teachers who illuminated the paths of knowledge and the Qur’an for students. He called on the honorees to continue reviewing the Qur’an and acting according to what it says, so that it will be a proof for them and a crown on their heads on the Day of Resurrection, and he noted the distinguished support that the school will provide to those who have memorized the Book of God in the coming period.
In conclusion, Professor Rashid Abdul Rahman and his companions kindly distributed certificates of appreciation and valuable prizes to the elite and distinguished students, most notably the students who obtained first places in the Holy Qur’an and the Noble Prophet’s Sunnah competition, which was organized by the Community Partnership Department at the Ministry of Education.
Mr. Osama Shabana, the program supervisor in the primary stage, was honored to present the ceremony and call upon the students to honor them.
The closing moment came when the students lined up with their teachers and a group of esteemed parents to take a commemorative group photo in commemoration of this distinguished occasion.
A feeling of pride and joy prevailed at the ceremony, and everyone wished the honorees more success and success in their educational career, and that the Holy Qur’an would be the spring of their hearts and a light for their paths in this world and the hereafter.
