Today marks the birth anniversary of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him. On this occasion, we extend our warmest congratulations to His Highness, wishing him good health and further success in his ongoing giving to Bahrain and its honorable people.
Since his early years, leadership traits have appeared in His Highness, inspired by values and principles from his father, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and from his grandfather, the late Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, God willing. These values were reflected in His Highness’s personality, which is characterized by justice, humility, and love of serving the nation.
His Highness the Prince contributed to strengthening the path of the modern state through renewed visions and a realistic approach based on developing government performance and enhancing the efficiency of institutions. His Highness’s leadership was distinguished by his flexibility in dealing with challenges, and his focus on actual results, through an administrative model based on dialogue, listening, and appreciation of national competencies.
One of the most beautiful things His Highness presented was consolidating the concept of “Team Bahrain,” which was not a temporary slogan, but rather became an institutional work philosophy aimed at enhancing the spirit of teamwork and motivating everyone to actively participate in serving the nation, within a unified vision based on loyalty and belonging.
In the face of the Corona pandemic, His Highness provided a role model in crisis management, as he closely followed the course of events and was keen to direct the work teams wisely and responsibly, which strengthened society’s confidence in the state’s ability to overcome adversity and turn challenges into opportunities.
Through his leadership responsibilities, His Highness was keen to invest in the Bahraini human being as the true wealth for building the nation. He focused on supporting education, training and empowering youth, out of his belief that a sustainable renaissance is based on qualified and creative national minds. This trend was reflected in a number of programs and initiatives that aimed to build a leadership generation capable of shaping the future.
Transparency and accountability also formed basic pillars in His Highness’s administrative philosophy, as he worked to consolidate the concepts of governance and justice in government work, in a way that enhances trust between citizens and state institutions. This approach has contributed to building efficient and effective administrative environments, and has made institutional performance a true mirror of the level of national ambition.
