Security services in Cairo are examining a post circulated on social media by a woman who claimed that she was subjected to harassment and insults from a car driver while she was driving on the ring road in the Tora area.
The woman said in her post that she was returning from work when she saw a car driver directing obscene words at her and trying to block her way more than once, noting that he stopped in front of her more than once, began cursing obscene words, and made inappropriate movements while driving.
She added that she tried to get away from him, but he chased her for a long distance, and confirmed that she was able to document part of the incident with a video clip, and collected the car’s data, and submitted it in the report that she filed at the police department.
The security services are currently examining the video and the written report to determine the driver’s identity and take legal measures.
