Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem confirmed that the Zionist occupation has a consistent policy of continuing to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
Qassem said in press statements on Monday that the movement had committed to all the details of the ceasefire in Gaza, especially in the first phase, by handing over all living prisoners at once.
He explained: We work daily to complete the delivery of all the bodies of Israeli prisoners, but there are major challenges in delivering the bodies of Israeli prisoners due to the great destruction.
He stressed that at the beginning of the war, the occupation deliberately bombed Israeli prisoners, their captors, and the residential areas around them.
Difficulties in handing over the bodies of prisoners
The Hamas spokesman added: One of the difficulties we face in handing over the bodies of prisoners is the lack of heavy equipment to remove the rubble, and we explained this to the mediators.
He pointed out that the movement is communicating with mediators on an ongoing basis regarding the continued violations of the Israeli occupation, and there is continuous communication with the American side regarding the violations that the occupation intends to commit.
He continued: All parties that want continued calm in this region must put pressure on the occupation to ensure the implementation of its obligations, pointing out that the occupation is exploiting the aid file to blackmail the political situation and threatens starvation again.
He also stressed that the occupation did not abandon its starvation policy in the face of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
