The euro exchange rate witnessed a state of stability against the Egyptian pound in most local banks operating in the Egyptian banking market today, Monday, October 20, 2025, as its levels were almost identical to what it recorded at the beginning of yesterday’s trading.
The highest price for the single European currency
The majority of local banks recorded the highest price for the single European currency, as the purchase price settled at 55.41 pounds, while the selling price reached 55.88 pounds. These banks included Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Next Bank, Export Development Bank, Banque Misr, National Bank of Kuwait, Arab International Bank, National Bank of Egypt, and Arab African International Bank.
On the other hand, other banks recorded similar but slightly lower price levels. Qatar National Bank recorded a purchase price of 55.34 pounds, compared to a selling price of 55.87 pounds. Prices were also equal at the International Arab Banking Company and the Industrial Development Bank, with the purchase price reaching 55.33 pounds and the selling price reaching 55.86 pounds. As for the Bank of Alexandria and the Suez Canal Bank, they recorded a unified purchase price of 55.32 pounds and a selling price of 55.85 pounds.
