Social media pioneers circulated a video clip documenting the moment when one of the tower watchers in Maghaghan slides in Minya Governorate rescued a woman who was about to die under the wheels of a train.
The video clip showed a woman trying to cross the railway line at the wrong time, while the slides were closed as the train was rapidly approaching.
The slide controller, Faris Mansour, in Minya Governorate, succeeded in pulling the woman away from the tracks seconds before the train passed, saving her life from certain death.
The incident received widespread interaction and great praise from social media users, who expressed their appreciation and thanks for the heroic and humanitarian stance shown by the tower supervisor in rescuing the woman.
