The exchange rate of the Saudi riyal witnessed relative stability against the pound at the end of today’s trading, Sunday, October 19, 2025, as the majority of banks operating in the local market maintained their price levels compared to their morning levels, and the buying and selling prices of the Saudi riyal generally ranged between two main levels in the banks.

The riyal recorded the highest purchase price in a number of banks, amounting to 12.68 pounds, compared to a selling price that settled at 12.71 pounds. These banks included: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait, Export Development Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Arab International Bank, HSBC Bank, Next Bank, and Bank of Alexandria.
On the other hand, another group of banks recorded a lower purchase price at 12.66 pounds, and the selling price in this group reached 12.69 pounds. It included: Commercial International Bank (CIB), Med Bank, National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, and Suez Canal Bank. The Bank of Cairo recorded a slight difference in the buying and selling prices, as it offered the riyal at a purchase price of 12.66 pounds, but it recorded the highest selling price among banks, amounting to 12.73 pounds.
