Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry – Director of the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Qalyubia, led an extensive monitoring tour in Obour City, affiliated with the Al-Khanka Supply Department, within the framework of implementing state directives and the keenness of the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Qalyubia to control the markets and prevent any exploitative practices following the movement of fuel prices.
The tour included car fueling stations and butane depots, to ensure full compliance with the new tariff approved by the governorate. Dr. Mukhtar also inspected the markets, bakeries, and various commercial activities in the city’s neighborhoods and the good markets, where he followed the progress of work inside tourist and municipal bakeries, supermarkets, vegetables, fruits, meat, poultry, fish, grains, herbalists, and restaurants, in addition to passing by the outlets. During the tour, the Undersecretary listened to citizens’ complaints, directing them to be quickly resolved on the ground and to remove their causes immediately.
Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar stressed that ration control continues around the clock to firmly confront any attempts to manipulate or exploit citizens, stressing that follow-up efforts are not limited to gas stations and butane depots only, but rather extend to all markets and shops to ensure price stability and prevent any exploitation to adjust fuel prices.
These tours come within the framework of the Qalyubia Supply Directorate’s plan to tighten supply control and control markets, ensuring consumer protection and maintaining the stability of the internal market in the governorate.
