The third contestant, Ali Ahmed Othman, participated in the State of Recitation program, where he amazed the committee and showed a unique talent in reciting the Holy Quran.

The contestant expressed his enthusiasm for entering the competition, stressing that his mother’s encouragement was the biggest motivation behind his participation, while his recitation was admired by everyone.
Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, said: I welcome you, Sheikh Ali. May God bless you. I am happy to have you with us, and I thank you for your beautiful and wonderful recitation. Your recitation showed great balance and beauty.
Sheikh Hassan Abdel Nabi explained: Your voice is very beautiful, but there are some notes on the pattern in some of the words, as they are read with a distortion sometimes. An example of this is the Almighty’s saying: “And if they had been patient until you came out to them, it would have been better for them, and God is Forgiving and Merciful.” There are some sounds that need modification, such as their s-sounds similar to s-s.
The Islamic preacher Mustafa Hosni said: Your stance when you did not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet, affected my heart a lot. The voice of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, carries mercy, strength, seriousness, and tolerance, and the louder the voice of the Prophet, the more mercy spreads in this world.. May God accept it from you.
