The Ministry of Works, in coordination with the General Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior, announces that the work of the road development project leading to Bahrain International Airport requires the closure of some lanes according to the following details:
· Complete closure of left turn lanes leading from Khalifa Al Kabeer Street to the airport in the north and diverting traffic in the opposite direction.
· Closing the turn lane leading right from Arad Street to Khalifa Al Kabeer Street towards the airport to the north and providing an alternative route for traffic.
· Closing the turn lanes leading left from Khalifa Al Kabir Street to Arad Street for those coming from the airport to Arad and diverting traffic to the surrounding roads.
Work will take place at the aforementioned site starting Friday, 11/21/2025 AD, for a period of three months. Therefore, honorable citizens and residents are requested to adhere to the traffic rules in order to preserve everyone’s safety.
