An elevator broke down in one of the residential towers in the city of Fayoum, and the civil protection forces were able to remove those in the elevator safely without injuries. It was found that one of the independent candidates in the district was the owner of the tower, and a report was filed regarding the incident.
Details of elevator breakdown
Major General Ahmed Ezzat, Director of Fayoum Security, had received a notification from the commander of the Fayoum First Police Department, that an elevator had broken down in one of the residential towers on the tenth floor, in the department’s district. Immediately, a force from the Fayoum First District and the Civil Protection Forces went to the report site. There were 4 residents of the tower inside the elevator, and they were taken out safely and without injuries. It turned out that the tower belonged to one of the independent candidates, for the first district of Bandar and the Fayoum Center.
A report was filed on the incident at the Fayoum Police Department, and it was referred to the competent prosecution, which took over the investigation.
