Announce African Handball Confederation, Classification of the teams participating in the twenty-seventh edition of the African Nations Handball Championship for Men, scheduled to be held in Rwanda during the period from 21 to 31 January 2026.

The Egyptian national team, the holder of the title of the last edition, came in the first level, along with the national teams of Algeria, Tunisia and Cape Verde (Cape Verde).
The full classification of the teams is as follows:
First level: Egypt – Algeria – Tunisia – Cape Verde
Second level: Guinea – Morocco – Angola – Nigeria
Third level: Cameroon – Gabon – Congo – Rwanda
Fourth level: Benin – Kenya – Zambia – Uganda
The tournament draw ceremony is scheduled to be held next Friday in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, in the presence of representatives of the African Handball Confederation and officials of the participating teams, where the groups and the official match schedule will be revealed.
The Egyptian national team will compete in the next tournament as the defending champion after winning the last edition, seeking to maintain its continental superiority and continue achieving achievements in African handball.
