The exchange rates of the Kuwaiti dinar against the Egyptian pound witnessed a wide and unprecedented variation between banks today, Wednesday, November 12, 2025, especially in purchasing prices, as the difference between the highest and lowest purchasing prices reached approximately six pounds.
Kuwait Finance House Bank topped the list of banks that offered the highest price to buy the dinar, recording 154.30 pounds to buy and 154.68 pounds to sell. It was followed by the Arab International Bank (AIB) and the Corporate Banking Bank (SAIB), with a unified purchase price of 153.60 pounds.

On the other hand, purchase prices recorded their lowest levels in the banking market with the Export Development Bank (EBank), which recorded 148.66 pounds, and the Bank of Alexandria (ALEXBANK), which offered a price of 148.80 pounds.
In general, prices in other banks varied as follows: HSBC Bank recorded a purchase price of 153.50 pounds, while the purchase price in Bank of Cairo (BDC) came at 153.44 pounds. Regarding the major banks, Banque Misr (BM) recorded a purchase price of 153.37 pounds, while the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) offered a price of 152.98 pounds.
Faisal Islamic Bank also recorded a purchase price of 152.90 pounds, and Credit Agricole Bank (CA) 152.74 pounds. Prices ranged widely in other banks, as the Arab African Bank (AAIB) recorded a purchase price of 151.35 pounds, the Commercial International Bank (CIB) 151.01 pounds, the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) 149.97 pounds, and finally the Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) 149.50 pounds.
