Former Zamalek club player and Zamalek TV broadcaster Mohamed Sabry sent a message to the public a few hours before his death, after the team lost the Super Cup, stressing that defeat is not the end of the world and that what is most important is restoring stability within the club.

Sabry said in his last message: Of course, we are all still sad. All Zamalek fans are sad and sad, of course, and we are all frustrated. He added: But at the same time, this is not the end of the world, nor is this the first match or the last tournament we lose. We will play, win and lose, and that is football. We hope that things will improve and remain better, technically and administratively.
Sabry spoke about the suffering of the club’s fans, saying: Stability is the trait we need. We are all upset about the many problems and lack of stability. After every match, we return to financial and administrative problems that must be fixed. Zamalek fans are never upset about losing a match, but they are upset about poor performance or laxity, or technical management that did not perform well.
The former Zamalek player explained that the real crisis is not a defeat on the field, but rather what he described as “the dispersion of the entire system,” saying: Zamalek fans understand well that gain and loss are possible, but they are upset by the lack of focus and the many crises. He has the right to demand technical and administrative stability.
He concluded his message a few hours before his departure: We do not want anything difficult, we want to stabilize technically and stabilize administratively, and the results are in God’s hands. Any audience in the world has the right to see their team stable inside and outside the stadium.
This message comes hours before the death of Mohamed Sabry in a collision in the Fifth Settlement, which doubled the state of grief among Zamalek fans, who considered his last words “the will of a loyal fan of the club.”
