Two brides cast their votes at the end of the first day of the House of Representatives elections in Beheira

The Biban School Committee, affiliated with the Kom Hamada Center in Beheira Governorate, witnessed the participation of newlyweds in the House of Representatives elections, voting in their wedding attire following the end of the wedding ceremony.

The newlyweds arrived at the headquarters of the electoral commission in their wedding clothes, where the bride was wearing a white wedding dress and the groom was wearing his suit. The scene was welcomed and widely interacted by the citizens present, the security men, and the judges supervising the committees. Some voters gathered to congratulate the newlyweds and take memorial photos of them.

The groom stressed that his keenness to participate comes from his belief in the importance of national participation and their duty towards choosing their representatives in Parliament, stressing that building their own future goes in parallel with building the future of their country.

Earlier, Dr. Jacqueline Azar, Governor of Beheira, inspected a number of committees in Damanhour, including the Leaders Preparation Center Committee, and the committees of Moaz Bin Jabal Secondary Schools, Damanhour Military Secondary Schools, and Muhammad Khamis Official Language Schools (Distinguished), to ensure the regularity of the electoral process and to facilitate procedures before voters with all transparency and discipline.

She confirmed that the Beheira Governorate is working in full swing in coordination with all executive authorities, with the main operations room continuing to operate and linking it to sub-rooms in the centers and directorates to deal immediately with any developments.

Dr. Jacqueline Azar pointed out that the governorate is one of the largest governorates in terms of voting bloc, with the number of voters reaching approximately 4 million 388 thousand and 114 voters, distributed among 647 electoral centers that include 753 subcommittees and 9 general committees, located in schools, Al-Azhar institutes, youth centers, and government headquarters to cover all parts of the governorate.

The governor praised the vital role of Bahrawi women, as the primary driver in society and supporter of the Bahrawi family, calling on all citizens to come out and participate in the elections as a national duty and an inherent right to choose who represents them, stressing that Beheira Governorate will always remain an honorable model of awareness and political participation during all national elections.
