Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Major General Khaled Fouda, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Local Development, and Major General Mahmoud Nassar, Head of the Central Reconstruction Agency, are visiting today, Saturday, to the city of St. Catherine, to inspect the projects of the Great Transfiguration and find out the latest implementation rates before the completion of the first phase and its official opening at the end of this year.
The Minister of Housing inspects the Great Transfiguration projects in St. Catherine
The Minister of Housing and Presidential Advisor for Local Development receives Major General Khaled Mubarak, Governor of South Sinai, Mabrouk Al-Ghamrini, Mayor of St. Catherine, and a number of executive bodies and members of the Senate.
The Minister of Housing and the President’s Advisor for Local Development and their accompanying delegation will visit St. Catherine Monastery and congratulate Bishop Simeon, Bishop of St. Catherine Monastery, on the occasion of his appointment as Archbishop of Sinai.
The Minister of Housing and his entourage inspect the Greatest Transfiguration projects, implementation rates, and the latest progress of the projects, in preparation for the opening of the first phase of the Greatest Transfiguration Project.
The Minister and his accompanying delegation arrive in St. Catherine at 9:30 in the morning, and the tour begins at 10:00 in the morning by inspecting St. Catherine Airport and the Nabi Saleh ambush, then inspecting the Zaytouna housing area, which includes inspecting the new reception building and residential buildings, and inspecting the church, the mosque, and the mountain resort.
The Minister and his accompanying delegation will head to St. Catherine Monastery and inspect the existing eco-lodge, the VIP building, and the mountain hotel, then head to the Peace Museum.
