This Sunday morning, the Damanhour Criminal Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, headed by Counselor Abdel-Rahim Ali Abdel-Al, President of the Court, and with the membership of Counselors Mohamed Hassan Al-Bawab, Karem Mahmoud Attia, and Hassan Adel Siq, will hold the first session of appeal of the accused of killing his infant daughter, Sama, in Case No. 2811 of 2024, Itay Gunpowder Felony, registered under No. 28 of 2024, Felony of All South Damanhour.
The first appeal session for the accused of killing his infant daughter in Beheira
On March 10, the Damanhour Criminal Court sentenced the defendant, Mahmoud S.R., to 10 years in prison for killing his infant daughter, Sama, as a result of marital disputes between him and her mother over her having girls.
The events of the incident date back to July 28, 2023, when the defendant, Mahmoud S.R., killed his infant daughter because he had female children. He determined to kill her by trampling on the bones of her head by jumping with his weight on her head and inflicting several blows on her until she died.
