The investigation authorities in the centers of Damanhour, Itay al-Baroud, and Kafr al-Dawwar in Beheira Governorate decided to authorize the burial of three people, including a young child, who were killed yesterday, Monday, as a result of being struck by lightning while working on agricultural land.

The centers of Damanhour, Itay al-Baroud, and Kafr al-Dawwar witnessed three separate incidents in which three people were killed, while a woman was struck by lightning while they were on agricultural land. Lightning also caused the death of an animal, and the bodies were transported to Damanhour Educational Hospitals, Kafr al-Dawar General Hospital, and Itay al-Baroud Central.
While the injured person was transferred to Damanhour Teaching Hospital for treatment, a report was written on the three incidents, and the investigation authorities initiated investigations.
The security services in the Beheira Security Directorate received a notification from the warden of Damanhour Police Station, stating that he had received a report from the teaching hospital of the arrival of: Anwar Fathi Anwar, 37 years old, farmer, resident of Zawiyat Ghazal in the same area as a dead body, and the injury of Hajar Salama Shaaban, 27 years old, a housewife, resident of Zawiyat Ghazal, with burns to the left forearm and left thigh, alleging electrocution due to lightning.
He also received a notification from the warden of the Itay al-Baroud police station, that he had received a report from the General Hospital about the arrival of Abd al-Rahman Eid Saeed Mahmoud, 11 years old, resident of the village of al-Dahriyya in the same district, a dead body allegedly struck by lightning while he was on agricultural land in the village, and the death of an animal.
He also received a notification from the warden of Kafr al-Dawwar police station, that he had received a notification from the General Hospital, of the arrival of Ahmed Farag Saeed Abdel Fadil, 23 years old, resident of the village of Sidi Ghazi in the area of the same center, a dead body, alleging he was struck by lightning.
The three bodies were kept at the disposal of the investigating authorities who initiated investigations into the three incidents.
