The national under-15 football team will play an international friendly match against its counterpart, the Hong Kong national team, on Tuesday, at the external stadiums of the Bahrain Football Association, as part of its preparations for the upcoming matches.
This confrontation comes within the preparatory program implemented by the national team under the leadership of Croatian coach Nevin, which aims to raise the players’ physical and technical readiness and give them more international experience through exposure to different football schools.
The two teams will meet again in a second friendly match on the 7th of this month, as part of a series of preparatory matches during which Little Red continues to work on developing the team performance and harmony among its members, in preparation for the upcoming regional and continental participations.
The Bahrain Football Association, through the Academy of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, pays great attention to this age stage of the national teams, by participating in local training and friendly experiences, as it is an important opportunity to evaluate the level of players and determine their technical readiness, in the context of seeking to provide the best means of preparation for the age group teams.
