The “Hayat” program has performed 2,034 transplant operations since its launch. Transparency and trust characterize the work of the organ donation program in the country. Dr. Ali Al Obaidli, Chairman of the National Committee for Donation and Organ Transplantation in the UAE, confirmed that the achievements achieved by the National Program for Donation and Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues “Hayat” contribute to consolidating the global position of the UAE in the field of humanitarian medicine, pointing to the vital role that the “Hayat” program plays in enhancing the sustainability of the health system in the Emirates and reducing dependence on external solutions. This came during a briefing entitled “Hayat Organ Donation Programme” within the annual meetings of the UAE government 2025, which concluded.
