The Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation praises the royal care for empowering widows and their leadership

Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, praised the paternal care and sublime humanitarian attention given by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, Honorary President of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, to mothers affiliated with the Foundation, noting the noble humanitarian values ​​that this care embodies, which His Majesty established in the Foundation’s approach and path.

This came on the occasion of the anniversary of the issuance of the generous Royal Order to Care for Widows on November 4, 2001, where he expressed deep appreciation and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, for his continued support for the Foundation and its various initiatives, and his directives aimed at developing specific programs and projects that enhance the stability of Bahraini families and enable women to achieve self-reliance.

Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Khalifa confirmed that the Royal Humanitarian Foundation has taken care of 31,855 orphans and widows, including 13,990 widows, since its establishment. During this period, it implemented many distinguished initiatives in the field of care and empowerment of widows, including training programs and small projects, in addition to providing social, family and educational consultations, and organizing development programs and health care, which contribute to ensuring the stability and well-being of families.

He also pointed out that the Foundation continues to develop its services in cooperation with government agencies and the private sector, to expand the scope of support in line with international best practices in caring for and empowering Bahraini women, which contributes to enhancing their independence, moving them from the stage of empowerment to the stage of leadership, and achieving more family and community stability.
