Director Amr Salama was keen to send an indirect message, through which he emphasized that the enemies of the art profession are the ones who see that art is losing it.
Amr Salama wrote on his Facebook account: There are people and situations that I see that make me feel that the saying “your enemy is the son of Kark” is not accurate. On the contrary, for many hours the one who supports you, helps you, and protects your back is the son of Kark.
He continued: Our real enemy is the one who takes advantage of Karna and fights us because he sees that Karna exposes him, makes him lose, or conflicts with his vile interests.
Amr Salama’s works
In another context, Amr Salama revealed the developments of his film Al-Shater Amr, as he said in his interview with Cairo 24: I actually had a film called Al-Shater Amr, and we attended it a little while and were going to film it, but I felt as a writer and director that I wanted to modify the scenario more, so I said give myself more time to prepare and modify it.
It is noteworthy that the Prestige series is his latest work, which included the artist Muhammad Abdel Rahman, Mustafa Gharib, Sami Maghawry, Dina, Ziad Zaza, Ahmed Daoud, Bassam Ragab, Alan Sinan, and others, and the work was written by Engy Abu Al-Saud.
