Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Qalyubia, this evening, undertook an extensive field tour to follow up on the activities of the official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, amid a massive public presence and great national interaction from the people of the governorate, who expressed their pride and pride in this unique cultural achievement.
The governor’s tour began from the Banha Sports Club, where hundreds of citizens and youth participated in watching the live broadcast of the celebration on the giant screens prepared specifically for this occasion. Then he continued his tour to the 10th of Ramadan Square in the city of Qalyoub, followed by the Labor Organization Club in West Shubra El Kheima, then the Youth Development Center in the East Shubra El Kheima neighborhood, and concluded it from the Youth Development Center in Obour City, stressing the importance of spreading joy and celebrating this historic event throughout the governorate.
Engineer Ayman Attia stressed that the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum is a global event and an eternal cultural message from Egypt to the world, noting that it represents the culmination of the will of an unyielding people, and highlights the ability of Egyptians to turn a dream into reality. The governor said:
He continued: “The Grand Egyptian Museum is not just a repository of antiquities, but rather a bridge that connects the greatness of the Pharaohs to the ambition of the future. The continued contribution of Egyptians to building the nation begins with our appreciation of our heritage, because national identity is not complete except by preserving our ancient history to illuminate the paths of future generations towards a bright tomorrow.”
The citizens expressed their appreciation for the governor’s keenness to be present in the field and to share the people’s joy, stressing that the Grand Egyptian Museum embodies a symbol of pride for every Egyptian and reflects the vision of the new republic led by the political leadership towards a future worthy of Egypt’s greatness and ancient history.
