The Olympic football team delegation departs on Sunday for the city of Minas in the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the Manas Cup 2025 International Under-23 Championship, which the city will host during the period from 12 to 18 November at the Kurmanbek Stadium.
Four teams will participate in the tournament: Kyrgyzstan (host), Bahrain, Russia and Iran, where the competitions will be held in a single-round league system.
The Olympic team will begin its journey in the tournament by facing the Kyrgyz national team on Tuesday, November 12, at seven in the evening, and will meet in its second match with the Russian national team on Friday, November 15, at three in the afternoon. It will conclude its matches in the tournament by facing the Iranian national team on Monday, November 18, at three in the afternoon, and all matches will be held at Kurmanbek Stadium in the city of Manas.
The organization of this tournament comes within the framework of the Olympic team’s preparations to raise the level of technical and physical readiness of the players, before participating in the Gulf Cup Under-23 Championship, which will be hosted by the Qatari capital, Doha, during the period from 4 to 16 December, which will be held on the sidelines of the Arab Cup – FIFA 2025.
Participating in the international tournament in Kyrgyzstan is an important preparation stage and an ideal opportunity to interact with strong teams. The goal of this participation is to develop the collective performance and gain more international experience for the players in preparation for the upcoming tournaments.
