His Excellency Mr. Hassan Abdullah Al-Madani, Governor of the Northern Governorate, received Dr. Sayed Shubar Ibrahim Al-Wadaei, Chairman of the Municipal Council of the Northern Governorate, and Mrs. Zainab Al-Darazi, Member of the Municipal Council of the Governorate.
His Excellency the Governor stressed the importance of prior coordination and integration of efforts between the governorate, the municipal council and relevant authorities, to achieve optimal preparation for the rainy season and ensure the safety of citizens and public property by establishing a unified work mechanism to follow up on sites affected by rainwater and implement urgent and sustainable solutions, in a way that enhances the quality of services provided to citizens.
During the meeting, joint preparations for the rainy season were reviewed by identifying the main points of rainwater collection in a number of areas of the governorate, which contributes to reducing water accumulation and facilitating its safe flow.
