The National Charter edifice received a delegation of British parliamentary assistants. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the sections of the exhibition and the historical documents it contains and interactive materials that use multimedia to highlight stations with a political, economic and social dimension and the Kingdom of Bahrain’s foreign relations, which reflect the Kingdom’s ancient past and its prosperous present, through interactive devices, documentaries and various images.
The delegation also learned about the names of male and female citizens who participated in voting on the National Action Charter, numbering about 220,000 male and female citizens, at a rate of 98.4%, and whose names are engraved on the walls of the edifice in commemoration of that broad national participation.
It is worth noting that the National Charter edifice came as a generous initiative from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, in commemoration of the great popular participation in voting on the National Action Charter, and the edifice continues to receive delegations, guests and students due to the valuable materials and documents it contains that embody the path of national development.
At the conclusion of the visit, the members of the delegation expressed their thanks and appreciation for the warm reception and good organization, praising the pioneering experience they had seen that reflects the development and prosperity the Kingdom of Bahrain is witnessing at various levels.
