
Mrs. Nani Muhammad Butti, Assistant Undersecretary for Support and Initiatives at the Ministry of Youth Affairs, opened the basketball court at the Al-Qadisiyah Youth Empowerment Center, in the presence of Engineer Youssef Al-Dosari, head of the center, and a number of officials from the ministry and members of the center.
The opening of the stadium comes within the strategy of the Ministry of Youth Affairs to develop the infrastructure in youth empowerment centers, which contributes to embracing young talents in various fields, promoting the practice of sports as a way of life that contributes to developing the physical and mental capabilities of young people, and consolidating the values of belonging and positive participation.
Following the opening, the Assistant Undersecretary and the attendees took a field tour of the center’s facilities, which included visiting the photo gallery and watching a youth theatrical performance, in addition to watching an exhibition basketball match, during which the youth had the opportunity to showcase their sports and artistic skills.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Assistant Undersecretary honored the members of the administration and the distinguished people at the center in appreciation of their outstanding efforts in supporting youth activities and development programmes, stressing the Ministry of Youth Affairs’ keenness to improve the work system in youth empowerment centers in order to enable them to perform their national tasks in discovering, refining and highlighting Bahraini talents in various fields.
For his part, Engineer Yousef Al-Dosari, Head of the Al-Qadisiyah Youth Empowerment Center, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Youth Affairs for its continuous support and provision of advanced infrastructure, stressing that this support will contribute to enabling the Center to implement its programs and plans efficiently, and enhance its role in embracing Bahraini youth and developing their capabilities and talents.
