Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, received Suhail bin Ghazi Al Gosaibi, President of the Bahrain Foundation for Dialogue, and a number of members of the Board of Directors, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Ministry and the Foundation in the youth and community fields.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Youth Affairs welcomed Al-Gosaibi and the members of the Foundation, expressing her appreciation for the prominent role played by the Bahrain Dialogue Foundation in consolidating the values of dialogue and tolerance among various groups of society, stressing that the Ministry of Youth Affairs upholds these values and is keen to integrate them into all its programs and initiatives, as a civilized approach that contributes to developing the personality of young people and building a generation that is aware and proficient in the tools of positive communication and social responsibility.
During the meeting, aspects of joint cooperation and coordination of efforts to launch youth activities and initiatives that embody the common goals between the two sides were discussed.
This contributes to enhancing the role of Bahraini youth and highlighting their capabilities in building a society that glorifies the values of dialogue and understanding.
For his part, Suhail bin Ghazi Al Gosaibi expressed the Bahraini Foundation for Dialogue’s pride in its partnership with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, as the main incubator of youth in the Kingdom, praising its role in empowering promising Bahraini energies, and stressing the Foundation’s keenness to expand the scope of cooperation with the Ministry through dialogue and educational initiatives that contribute to instilling a culture of understanding and tolerance and enhancing community participation among young people.
