Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Minister of Information, received today at the Ministry’s headquarters, Mr. Majri bin Mubarak Al Qahtani, Director General of Gulf Radio and Television, where during the meeting, arrangements for the Kingdom of Bahrain’s hosting of the seventeenth session of the Gulf Radio and Television Festival 2026 were discussed.
During the meeting, the Minister of Information expressed his appreciation for the prominent role played by the Gulf Radio and Television Corporation in consolidating media cooperation between the GCC countries and enhancing integration between its institutions in a way that contributes to the development of radio and television production artistically and technically, to reflect the process of development and renaissance witnessed by the GCC countries.
His Excellency stressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to harness all capabilities to ensure the success of the festival in its next edition, making it a Gulf event worthy of creatives and media professionals in the GCC countries, indicating the Ministry’s aspiration for the next session to be more distinguished than its predecessors.
For his part, Mr. Majri bin Mubarak Al-Qahtani appreciated the support of the Ministry of Information and its continued support for joint Gulf media initiatives, stressing his confidence in the ability of the Kingdom of Bahrain to organize an exceptional session of the festival that reflects its media leadership, and the creative competencies and expertise it possesses that are capable, as usual, of achieving remarkable success for this distinguished event.
