At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Information congratulated Faisal Al-Ali on gaining the confidence of the newspaper’s board of directors by assuming the editor-in-chief of Al-Watan, wishing him every success in performing his duties and responsibilities, in a way that contributes to continuing the newspaper’s journey and consolidating its distinguished role in the national media arena.
The Minister praised the distinguished media presence achieved by Al-Watan newspaper, which contributed to enriching the journalistic scene in the Kingdom of Bahrain through its professional and objective handling of various issues, and its reporting of the honorable national achievements witnessed by the Kingdom within the comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, stressing his happiness keenness to The Ministry of Information continues cooperation and coordination with various media institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, to continue performing its national media mission.
