Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received at the Ministry’s headquarters today, retired Lieutenant General Martin Sampson, Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies in the Middle East.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed the Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies, expressing his thanks for the good efforts made by His Excellency and the executive management of the Institute to organize the Manama Dialogue Forum 2025, noting the distinguished level of the dialogue sessions and the topics and issues that were focused on, which were praised by the guests of the forum, expressing appreciation for the full cooperation and coordination that took place between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Institute, wishing the management of the Institute continued success.
For his part, retired pilot Lieutenant General Martin Sampson expressed his thanks to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the cooperation and joint coordination between the Ministry and the Institute, and the facilities and support provided by the Ministry and its supporting team that contributed to the success of the Manama Dialogue Forum 2025 in its twenty-first edition and its honorable exit, which reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen its international partnership in order to consolidate the concept of peace and enhance global security and stability, expressing his aspiration for more constructive partnerships in the affairs of studies and forums in the future.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Salah Mohammed Shehab, Head of the Protocol Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ms. Al-Yazia Abdul Rahman Abdul Malik, Director of the Affairs Department of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies.
