Noha Hanafi Abdel Khaleq revealed the details of the moment the Kuwaiti tourist collided with her car while trying to escape from the police forces at the top of the Qasr al-Nil Bridge, in an incident that sparked widespread controversy over the past few days.

In her statements during investigations obtained by Cairo 24, she said that she was driving her car on the October Bridge when she was surprised by a speeding car that collided with her forcefully, causing her car to be severely destroyed amid a state of chaos and panic among passers-by and drivers.
She added that she saw the accused, who later turned out to be a 28-year-old Kuwaiti tourist, trying to evade the police forces who were trying to stop him.
The victim explained that the accident caused serious damage to her car, the value of which was estimated at about 250 thousand pounds, according to the technical inspection report, confirming that she suffered a state of nervous shock following the accident.
The competent investigation authorities referred the Kuwaiti tourist to criminal trial on charges of possessing and using narcotic substances, driving a car under the influence of drugs and alcohol, using force and violence with police officers, and damaging public property while trying to flee a security chase at the top of the October Bridge.
