Today, Major General Tariq Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, received Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, at the governorate’s general office, following the end of his inspection tour of a number of schools in the governorate, which came within the framework of monitoring the progress of the academic year and ensuring the regularity of the educational process.

During the meeting, the Minister of Education and Technical Education appreciated the efforts of the Governor of Dakahlia, and the continuous support and cooperation he provides with the Directorate of Education in the governorate, which contributes to achieving discipline and raising the efficiency of the educational process, praising the governorate’s efforts in developing schools, maintaining educational buildings, and improving the services provided to students.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif stressed the importance of the teacher’s role as the basic pillar of the educational process, noting that the development of education begins with supporting the teacher, continuously qualifying him, and enabling him to perform his lofty mission to the fullest.
For his part, the governor expressed his welcome to the minister, stressing Dakahlia Governorate’s appreciation for the great role played by the ministry in supporting and developing the educational system, noting that the governorate pays special attention to the education sector and is working to create a safe and stimulating school environment for students and teachers, pointing to continuing joint work to provide the best conditions for our students.
The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Dakahlia Governorate in implementing plans to develop pre-university education, following up on ongoing projects in the field of construction and maintenance, and mechanisms to support schools to provide an attractive and safe educational environment for students, in addition to ways to enhance field follow-up of schools to ensure the regular conduct of the educational process.
