Major General Tariq Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, confirmed the continued intensification of the preparations of local units in centers, cities and neighborhoods to deal immediately with the rainfall, and to confront climate changes and unusual weather phenomena during the winter. He also ordered to ensure the cleaning and unclogging of sewers and drainage chambers in all cities and neighborhoods to prevent water accumulation, and to verify the readiness of suction and rain control vehicles.
In this context, the Governor of Dakahlia directed the heads of local units to fully coordinate with the Drinking Water, Sanitation and Electricity Company, ensure the readiness of equipment and work teams, and verify the safety of lighting poles and electrical insulators. He also ordered taking all proactive measures to protect the security and safety of citizens and public and private property.

The governor stressed the heads of centers, cities, and neighborhoods to continue field monitoring and deal immediately with any emergency, while coordinating with the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company to quickly deal with any water accumulations.
He stressed the necessity of permanent coordination with the National Emergency and Safety Network at the governorate’s general office, and the operating rooms in neighborhoods and centers, and following up on any reports through the drinking water company’s operating rooms to deal with them quickly.
