Today, Cairo Governorate witnessed an important meeting between Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, and the new district heads, as part of the efforts exerted to improve the services provided to citizens and direct communication with them, where a number of vital issues and priorities that must be focused on during the next stage were addressed, which require concerted efforts in order to achieve citizen satisfaction.
The most prominent thing that was emphasized during the meeting was the importance of the field presence of neighborhood heads, as the Governor of Cairo stressed the necessity of going to the streets and interacting with citizens, as knowing their needs and problems directly contributes to taking the immediate measures necessary to solve them, and this is considered an essential part of developing institutional performance that aims to serve the public better.
The governor also discussed the importance of cooperation with civil society, noting that this cooperation serves as a pillar for implementing state plans aimed at improving the quality of life, which requires neighborhood heads to work hard to achieve these goals, and transform ideas into noticeable achievements that citizens feel in their daily lives.
In a related context, the Governor of Cairo called for accelerating the completion of citizens’ transactions and improving communication mechanisms with them, as the policy of reward and punishment must be implemented categorically, in a way that helps enhance the level of performance and achieve tangible results, and to ensure the effective implementation of investment plans that aim to develop neighborhoods and increase the rate of completion in current and future projects.
