Today, Wednesday, November 12, 2025, the euro exchange rate witnessed a noticeable increase by about 8 piasters against the Egyptian pound at the close of transactions, in most local banks operating in the banking market, compared to its levels recorded at the beginning of today’s transactions.
The euro recorded the highest unified purchase price in both the Export Development Bank and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, reaching 54.63 pounds for purchase, and 54.82 pounds for sale in both.

At a price level higher than average, the euro recorded 54.60 pounds for purchase in a number of banks, including the Industrial Development Bank and the Egyptian Arab Land Bank, where the selling price in them reached 54.79 pounds. The same purchase price was recorded in both the Commercial International Bank and the International Arab Banking Company, but the selling price in them settled at 54.80 pounds.
As for other banks, the euro recorded 54.59 pounds for purchase at Next Bank and Qatar National Bank. Next Bank recorded the highest selling price among banks at 54.88 pounds, while Qatar National Bank recorded a selling price of 54.79 pounds.
In a wide group of banks, the euro recorded a purchase price of 54.58 pounds, including the Bank of Alexandria, the Suez Canal Bank, the Kuwait Finance House Bank, and the Faisal Islamic Bank. The selling price in these banks ranged between 54.79 pounds and 54.81 pounds (at the Arab International Bank).
At the end of trading, Banque Misr recorded the euro at 54.56 pounds for buying, and 54.80 pounds for selling.
