The Egyptian junior national team completes its final preparations to meet Haiti in the World Cup

The U-17 national team concluded its training today, Monday, in preparation for meeting the Haiti national team tomorrow, Tuesday, at 3:30 p.m. This match is the first for our national team in the World Cup tournament, as the team seeks to present a strong performance worthy of the reputation of Egyptian football, and be a starting point towards a successful tournament.

The Egyptian national team’s roster includes a group of distinguished players in various positions. In goalkeeping, there are Omar Abdel Aziz, Amr Adel, and Mohamed Tariq, while in the defense line, we find Hamza El Degawy, Nour Ashraf, and Fares Fakhry, in addition to Adham Farid and Muhannad El Shami, while the midfield is distinguished by the presence of Omar Kamal, Omar Abu Talib, and Basil Medhat, and the offensive line includes Hamza Abdel Karim and Abdel Aziz El Zoghbi.

In its last friendly experience, the Egyptian U-17 national team achieved a landslide victory over Qatar, where the team scored seven goals to one. This result reflects the team’s good preparation and the leadership of coach Ahmed Al-Kass in achieving technical excellence. The team sends a strong message from the beginning of its World Cup journey.

Qatar will host the Junior World Cup from November 3 to 27, 2025. This edition is distinguished by the participation of 48 teams, an unprecedented number in the history of the tournament. Organizing this tournament in Qatar is considered a great opportunity for young people to show their talents under the international spotlight, and we hope that our team will best represent Egypt.
