The Education and Training Quality Authority, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, organized a ceremony to honor the vocational education and training institutions that achieved outstanding performance in the fifth round of reviews, and received an “excellent” rating for their commitment to quality and excellence standards. The authority granted seven vocational training institutions the Golden Quality Seal in recognition of their excellence in performance.
The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, and Dr. Maryam Hassan Mustafa, CEO of the Education and Training Quality Authority, along with a number of officials and representatives of the honored institutions.
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa stressed that the Ministry of Labor continues its efforts to develop vocational training institutions by applying best practices and creating a competitive educational and training environment, noting that cooperation with the Education and Training Quality Authority has contributed to improving the quality of training and raising the efficiency of outputs by adopting international best practices and enhancing a positive competitive environment, in line with the objectives of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
For her part, Dr. Maryam Hassan Mustafa explained that this initiative reflects the Authority’s keenness to enhance the culture of quality and excellence in the vocational training sector, and to motivate institutions to compete positively and raise the level of performance and outputs. She added that granting the Golden Quality Seal comes in recognition of institutions that have demonstrated clear commitment to comprehensive evaluation standards and demonstrated outstanding institutional performance in various educational and administrative aspects.
It is worth noting that the quality seal system adopted by the Authority grants the gold seal to institutions that received an “excellent” rating, and a silver seal to institutions that obtained a “good” rating. The fifth session witnessed seven institutions receiving the gold seal and seventeen institutions receiving the silver seal, confirming the growing culture of quality in the vocational education and training sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
