The Glim area on the Alexandria Corniche witnessed a collision between a bus and a private car, which resulted in the driver being seriously injured.
The Operations Room received a notification of a collision in the Glim area, and the security services and ambulances immediately moved to the location of the report.
The driver of a private car was injured when it was hit by a public transport bus that crossed the central island of Alexandria Corniche
Upon examination, it was found that while the public transport bus was speeding by while rain was falling, the steering wheel came loose from its driver’s hand and it crossed the middle island of the road and exited to the opposite side, resulting in a collision with a private car that happened to be passing on its way, and the accident resulted in the injury of the private driver of the car.
In another context, the San Stefano area witnessed a collision between a tram car and an angel car, as the two-track tram “Baghdad” crossed the previous station of San Stefano station, quickly as the angel car passed.
A source in the Public Transport Authority said that a tram struck a private car driven by a woman on the slides while it was passing quickly, so the tram driver towed the cars to the railway campus, confirming that a report of reconciliation had been drawn up between the two parties, and the legal procedures were being finalised.
