We present the date for announcing the results of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, as the National Elections Authority, headed by Judge Hazem Badawi, finished voting in the first phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, after allowing the last voter present inside the electoral campus to cast his vote, as the electoral process witnessed wide participation, and the heads of the 5,606 electoral committees at the level of 14 governorates counted the voters’ votes and conducted a numerical count of the votes for each candidate and each electoral list.

Regarding the date of announcing the results of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, the National Elections Authority is scheduled to announce the official results of the first phase on November 18, as the authority indicated that the general committees will receive electoral appeals from candidates on the results of the numerical vote tally no later than 24 hours from the announcement of the tally, provided that the authority will decide on these appeals within 24 hours of receiving them, with the complainant notified of the result of the decision within 24 hours of its issuance.

While announcing the results of the House of Representatives elections, the National Elections Authority confirmed that the results announced by the subcommittees and general committees are only a numerical count, and that the Authority alone is responsible for announcing the official results.
The authority explained that the executive body revises and reviews all results, including the votes of Egyptians abroad, in preparation for submitting them to the authority’s board of directors for final review.

Regarding the date of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, the first phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections began on November 10 and 11 in 70 electoral districts in 14 governorates, including 5,606 subcommittees. Sorting procedures began in some committees immediately after the end of voting, with the head of each committee counting the votes between the individual system and the electoral list, preparing independent records for each system, and then announcing the exclusive number of votes, including the number of voters, the number of valid and invalid votes, and the number of votes for each candidate or list.
In the event that no candidate obtains an absolute majority (50 + 1 of the valid votes), a runoff will be held between the candidates with the highest valid votes. As for the list system, the victory is counted for the list that obtains 5% of the total number of registered voters in each district.

Method of counting votes in elections
Regarding the method of counting votes in the elections, Judge Ahmed Bandari, Director of the Executive Authority of the Authority, explained that the procedures for counting votes include close follow-up by committee secretaries, candidate representatives, media representatives and observers, as the numbers of the plastic locks on the boxes are reviewed and ensure that they match the minutes of the committees. After completing the counting of each box, the counting minutes and envelopes are delivered to the head of the General Committee for review and the announcement of the exclusive number of votes.
