His Excellency Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security, received His Excellency Major General Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior in the sisterly United Arab Emirates, President of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol). At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Chief of Public Security stressed the depth of the distinguished fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly State of the United Arab Emirates, and the strong coordination and cooperation they are witnessing in the security and police fields, which contributes to supporting joint efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability and consolidating the foundations of security integration between the two brotherly countries. During the meeting, His Excellency the Chief of Public Security received the Interpol Medal of the Special Class from His Excellency Major General Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Raisi, President of the International Criminal Police Organization, in appreciation of his exceptional contributions to supporting international cooperation in the areas of strengthening global security and international peace. The Chief of Public Security expressed his thanks and appreciation to the President of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) for this honor, noting the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to continue cooperation and coordination with the organization in the field of exchanging experiences and information, combating organized crime, and achieving security and stability at all levels. The meeting was attended by Major General Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major General Fawaz Hassan Al Hassan, Commander of the Royal Academy of Police, Major General Walid Abdullah Al Shamsi, Commander of the Special Security Force, Colonel Hamdan Al Yamahi, Director of the Interpol Presidency Office, and Salem Al Mahri, Protocol and Protocol Coordinator for the Head of the International Criminal Police Organization.
