The Central Administration for Directorate Affairs and Affiliated Entities of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education issued a letter addressed to the directors of education in the governorates of the Republic, regarding the selection of members of the Unit for Supporting and Measuring the Quality of Education in the educational directorates and administrations from among those referred for retirement.
The letter, signed by the head of the Central Administration for Directorate and Subordinate Affairs Affairs, Ali Abdul Raouf Ahmed, stated that according to the instructions of the Minister of Education and Technical Education, each work team in the Education Quality Support and Measurement Unit must consist of at least ten workers, chosen from among the gentlemen referred to retirement during the last three years, from job employees (directorate director – director of an educational department – school principal).
The letter added that the educational directorates and departments must complete the employees’ data according to the attached form, including the name, last job title, national number, phone number, and e-mail, in order to communicate and follow up on the procedures for selecting members, stressing that this procedure is within the framework of supporting the quality of education and raising the level of educational performance within the educational directorates and departments.
The Ministry of Education launches a comprehensive plan to raise the quality of school performance and seeks the expertise of those referred for retirement
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education launched an integrated plan to evaluate and raise the level of educational performance within schools, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Muhammad Abdul Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, with the aim of achieving comprehensive discipline in the educational process and improving the quality of educational outcomes.
The plan is based on forming a unit to support and measure the quality of education, which includes about 2,800 educational leaders with competencies and experiences referred for retirement, to benefit from their accumulated experience in developing the performance of the educational system and following up on the implementation of quality standards in schools.
The Ministry has already begun directing educational directorates in various governorates to begin periodic field visits carried out by the unit’s teams, to evaluate the performance of schools and follow up on student achievement in the classroom, to ensure continuity of development and adherence to educational quality standards.
