The Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait Festival for the Under-8 and Under-10 categories will begin on Friday at the Bahrain Tennis Club courts, as part of the activities of the 29th Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait Junior Tennis Championship, the competitions of which continue under the supervision and organization of the Bahrain Tennis Club and with the sponsorship and support of the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait. The Under-8 Festival will be held on Friday in two periods; The first is in the morning from nine in the morning until twelve in the afternoon, and the second in the evening from four until seven in the evening, while the festival activities continue on Saturday for the under-10 category at the same time, with wide participation of more than 100 male and female players, in an atmosphere that will be full of enthusiasm, sportsmanship and family interaction. Mr. Khalid Mohammed Abdul Qayyum – General Secretary of the Bahrain Tennis Club and Chairman of the tournament’s organizing committee confirmed that the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait Sprouts Festival is one of the distinguished events that the club is keen on. To organize it annually within the tournament, due to the educational and sporting value it represents in encouraging young people to play the game and instilling a love of tennis in them from a young age, praising the continuous support provided by the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait and its successful partnership with the club in sponsoring various championships for the age groups, which contributed to achieving the continuity and distinction of this ancient event. Abdul Qayyum explained that the organizing committee has completed all preparations for the success of the festival, by preparing an integrated program for matches that combine competition and entertainment, stressing The festival will serve as a celebratory day that concludes a week full of competition in the tournament. In a related context, the competitions of the fifth day of the tournament continued with a series of exciting matches in the categories of boys and girls under 12, 14 and 18 years, where the matches witnessed distinguished technical levels and great competition among the participants, and the results resulted in the victory of Abdullah Al-Assad over Hassan Bukhammas, Abbas Nabil over Paul Kim, Ahmed Khalfan over Aditya Chavan, and Abdulaziz Fakih over Ahmed Abadi.
