Issa Al Shaiji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Journalists Association, expressed the best congratulations and blessings of the press and media family in the Kingdom of Bahrain to Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Minister of Information, and all radio employees, on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the launch of the first radio broadcast from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf region.
He said in a statement on this occasion: “I am honored, on behalf of the journalistic and media family in Bahrain, to extend my sincere congratulations to the Minister of Information, and to all the radio’s employees, for their great efforts in improving radio work, in continuation of the ancient journey of Bahrain Radio,” praising the competence and capabilities of the radio’s employees that call for pride and pride.
He stressed that Bahrain Radio has achieved great and numerous successes and achievements thanks to the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the support and assistance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, for Bahraini media cadres, and enabling them to deal with various forms of transformations in the various media.
Al-Shaiji said: “The radio has made great contributions to serving Bahraini society and conveying Bahrain’s civilized voice to various countries of the world, as a media platform for spreading culture, awareness, authentic Bahraini values and principles, and Bahrain’s honorable positions.”
He stressed that the Bahraini Journalists Association, while extending its sincere congratulations to the Minister of Information and all employees of the radio, renews its good wishes to all the sisters and brothers in the radio for more success, good achievements and distinguished giving.
