The “His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force Annual Golf Championship” competitions began this morning, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Bahrain Golf Club, with more than 80 players participating in the tournament. This tournament comes in the direction of encouraging and developing the sport of golf in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The “His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force Annual Golf Championship” is one of the most important annual tournaments of the Bahrain Golf Club, and enjoys unlimited support from His Excellency Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, which is considered one of the oldest and largest tournaments in the golf season at the Bahrain Golf Club. His Excellency is also personally keen to hold this tournament annually since the launch of the first edition in 1974 AD.
