Within the framework of World Space Week celebrations, teacher Widad Al-Qadiri launched a project entitled “The launch of the Bahraini Al-Mundhir satellite and the journey of Al-Falah school students into outer space,” with the aim of developing students’ science imagination and linking it to the Bahraini national identity and the Kingdom’s pioneering achievements in the field of space.
The project is considered one of the innovative educational initiatives that combine learning, technology, and artificial intelligence, as the teacher, Al-Qadri, works to employ modern technologies in the educational process by designing interactive games and creating three-dimensional characters that help students understand scientific concepts in a fun and exciting way.
The teacher also launched, as part of her educational initiatives, the “Career Day” section, which aims to enhance the students’ ambitions by designing future pictures that reflect their dreams and future careers. This initiative seeks to encourage students to set their professional goals early, and motivate them to be creative and actively participate in building their nation.
Widad Al-Qadiri stressed that the use of technology in education is not limited to enriching the content only, but also contributes to developing students’ thinking skills, creativity, and national belonging, noting that integrating science fiction with education opens up broader horizons for the future for new generations.
