The UAE is studying the construction of a fourth federal road with a length of 120 kilometers and a width of 12 traffic lanes, with a capacity to accommodate 360,000 trips per day, which will reduce traffic congestion, enhance the efficiency of the federal road network and support economic growth and movement between the emirates of the country. A comprehensive national plan implemented by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, to develop the federal road network with the aim of enhancing its efficiency and accommodating the increasing transport movement, and achieving higher traffic flow, which will reflect positively on the quality of life and enhance economic growth. Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, revealed a package of national projects, federally and locally, in transport and roads, worth 170 billion dirhams.
